Environment employees participate in survey workshop

THE Biodiversity Management Bureau conducted a Capability Building Training Workshop on Knowledge, Attitude and Practice (KAP) Survey with participants from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) from Regions 1 to 13 at the GT Hotel in Bacolod City.

The training aims to orient DENR technical staff on the use of the KAP Survey training manual and the survey tool.

It also aims to develop the capabilities of the DENR staff on data collection and processing.

The participants will be identifying two to three barangays from the list provided by the Protected Area Superintendent of Mount Kanla-on Natural Park as part of the field exercises.

Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Officer Edgardo M. Rostata welcomed all participants and gave an inspirational message at the start of the training. (PR)
