Sunnexdesk

NEGROS Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. said on Thursday, January 10, that the structural design of Mambukal Mountain Resort in Murcia town was not affected by the damage brought by natural circumstances.

The governor went to the resort on Thursday. The resort is owned and operated by the Provincial Government.

“I want to personally see the extent of the damage brought about by the falling branches of a tree that hit the hotel's parapet and it damaged the kitchen of the hotel,” he said.

The governor said the project is not yet turned over to the province because of the additional works.

“The project is nearing its completion,” he said.

He also said that anyone who would want to see the hotel and the damage created by the incident is free to go to the area. (TDE)
