“The Knowing Home Project is an information and education campaign regarding the critical state of our Negros Forests,” project coordinator Ma. Krishna Ariola said.

The speakers during the forum were Aaron Pitogo, technical staff of NNNP, Edgar Rostata DENR-Penro officer, and Rosie Pablico, DENR-Penro chief of conservation and development.

“We hope that their interests about the NNNP would not stop on the forum but will continue to grow and propagate,” project coordinator Ken Paolo Gilo said.

Gilo also added that their group Linghod is always open for future partnerships from volunteers and environmental advocates towards the protection and conservation of the protected areas of Negros.

Topics included during the forum were the biodiversity, issues, laws, and regulations in the protection of NNNP. (PR)
