ABANG Lingkod Party-list Representative Stephen Paduano recently held discussions with agents from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Negros Occidental during a surprise visit earlier this week.

According to a statement issued by PDEA-Negros Occidental, Paduano discussed about the Magna Carta for PDEA Personnel, a bill which he supported.

Paduano discussed with PDEA officials the safety issues of the environment where the Provincial Office is located, thereby pledged to provide a safe house for the operatives, vehicle for intel mobility and K9 service as well as allocation of fund for his next year’s budget for the future construction of PDEA Office building should the usufruct agreement for the use of the provincial lot within Bacolod City is materialized.

He also pledged his support to lobby for assistance from the local government units for PDEA’s provincial office.

The party-list congressman offered to shoulder the immediate repair of PDEA’s service vehicle which was damaged following an operation they conducted several weeks ago. (TDE)
