A BODY was found in a canal in Hacienda Sta. Teresita, Barangay Dos Hermanas, Talisay City on Wednesday, June 19.

Based on the description of the Talisay City PNP, the victim was a male person wearing black t-shirt and black short.

The body was found by a hacienda worker around 6 a.m. of June 19, while he was cultivating in the sugarcane field.

The victim’s body was in the state of advanced decomposition and was found in prone position in the canal at the said sugarcane field.

The SOCO team led by Lt. Col. Helen Pasoy of the Provincial Crime Laboratory Office, Bacolod City processed the crime scene. The cadaver of the victim was brought to Manapla Funeral Homes, Silay City for autopsy examination to determine the cause of death.
