Man hurt in Mansilingan stabbing

A MAN was injured after he was stabbed at Purok Katilingban, Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City Friday evening.

Police identified the victim as Jhonny Mapisca.

Police Major Ariel Pico, spokesperson of Bacolod City Police Office, said Mapisca was having a drinking session at Purok Katilingban when John Paul Malunes attacked him using a bladed weapon.

The victim sustained wound in his chest. He was brought to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital.

The suspect also voluntarily surrendered to Police Station 7. (MAP)
