THE Bacolod City Police Station 9 is facing difficulty in identifying the drivers of the motorcycle and the tricycle who hit and ran over the 62-year-old man at Araneta Street, Barangay Sum-ag Sunday evening.

Police Captain Jun Ray Batadlan, chief of Police Station 9, said Tuesday, June 25, that they secured a copy of the closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera footage in the area, but it is not clear.

He said they will check another copy of the CCTV footage in the area so they can identify the two drivers who fled after the accident.

He added the Ceres Bus driver Regie Lejarso, 38, of Binalbagan, Negros Occiental, who voluntarily surrendered, was already released after the lapse of his reglementary period on Monday afternoon.

Batadlan noted that the Ceres Bus company is also willing to help the family of the victim.

On Sunday evening, Eduardo Enriquez, of Purok Magayon, Barangay Sum-ag, was crossing at Araneta Street when he was hit by motorcycle.

The victim fell on the ground and he was hit again by a Ceres Bus then, a tricycle, all traveling from Bacolod towards south direction.
