Marayo Bank opens 10th branch in San Carlos City

MARAYO Bank opened its 10th branch in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental recently.

Leading the opening are Marayo Bank were chairman Franklin Fuentevella, San Carlos City Mayor Gerardo Valmayor and wife Rizza, and Bank's Board of Director Lucia Q. Villafranca.

The opening of the new branch, which is located at F.C. Ledesma Avenue in Barangay Palampas, is part of its expansion particularly to the unserved population in the rural areas.

During the last 10 years, Marayo Bank has registered rapid growth in terms of profitability and resources. Its financial ratios such as return on capital, return on assets, Capital Adequacy Ratio which is a benchmark used by the Central Bank in measuring the capitalization of banks are much better than the industry standards, both for universal banks, commercial banks, and rural banks.

It also offers real estate mortgage loans, chattel mortgage loans, teacher's salary loans, salary loans to private and government employees, commercial and allotment loans.

Other Marayo Bank branches and offices are located in Pontevedra, Kabankalan, Binalbagan, Bacolod, E.B. Magalona and Cadiz. (CNC)
