Minor hurt in stabbing

A 16-YEAR-OLD boy was injured after he was stabbed at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City, early Monday morning, April 23.

Police withheld the name of the victim, who is a resident of Barangay Handumanan.

Chief Inspector Ramel Sarona, head of Police Station Central Visayas, said the victim was allegedly attacked by suspects Jonil Aragon, 20, of Barangay Mansilingan; and Eliaquim Validor, 20, of Barangay Alijis, around 12:30 a.m.

The victim sustained a lone stab wound on his back and was brought to a hospital.

Police arrested the two suspects but authorities failed to recover the weapon used in the crime.

Sarona said they have yet to determine the motive.

Both suspects are detained at the police station. (GYM)
