Investigation showed that Deramas was about to ride a motorcycle driven by a certain “Sandot,” when three unidentified assailants fired at them at Barangay Trinidad at 8:30 a.m.

Sandot, a member of CAA, was able to survive the attack by jumping from the motorcycle.

Deramas succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds.
