PDEA-Western Visayas adopts new protocol

THE Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Western Visayas is adopting additional protocol of tagging and bar coding of evidence.

With the adoption of new system, the PDEA Laboratory Service conducted hands-on training to PDEA- Western Visayas chemists for the new tagging and bar coding of evidence to be implemented this year.

The training was headed by Robelle Ann Cambronero, business analyst;

Elaine E. Erno, chemist IV; and Vernon Rex M. Valenzuela, admin. officer IV.

The attendees include the drug evidence custodian, laboratory technician and the chemists.

The new system of tagging and bar coding of evidence will be implemented for proper accounting and safe keeping of evidence which is crucial in filing cases and prosecuting the suspected criminals.
