Penro, group to launch posters conserving wildlife

TO HEIGHTEN the awareness of different sectors in the society, the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office in Negros Occidental and Talarak Foundation Inc. (TFI) produced posters (tarpaulin) for the conservation and protection of the wildlife.

The posters shall be installed in strategic places in public schools, barangay halls and some point entry of the Northern Negros Natural Park (NNNP).

This is one of the Information and Education Campaign on Biodiversity Conservation Program of Penro and Talarak Foundation.

The launching of the said posters will take place at NFEFI-Biodiversity Conservation Center Cabana in South Capitol Road, Bacolod City at 8 a.m. Tomorrow, September 12.

Representatives from the local government units of Salvador Benedicto, Murcia, Talisay, Silay, Provincial Environment, and Management Office, Philippine Ports Authority, Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines-Bacolod, Philippine Coastguard-Bacolod Chapter and Negros Occidental Provincial Police Office are expected to attend the activity.
