PERYAHAN ng Bayan, a numbers game under the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO,) is expected to re-open its operation soon in Negros Occidental.

PCSO personnel from its national office led by Ariel Pico, who is in-charge of the draw machines, arrived in Murcia town Thursday, September 19, and conducted the calibration of the machine and inspection of the draw center.

"It's part of the compliance of Globaltech. The PCSO has been going around the country to do the calibration and inspection of the draw centers in 11 areas all over the country approved by President Rodrigo Duterte and the PCSO where the Peryahan Ng Bayan will re-open," said Kim Damascos, area coordinator of Globaltech that operates Peryahan Ng Bayan in Negros.

After the inspection and calibration of the machines, Peryahan is expected to re-open first week of October, Damascos said.

All over the province, Peryahan results will be based on three draws held in Murcia every 11:30 a.m., 3:30 p.m., and 8:30 p.m. daily.

Damascos said the local government units will also get their shares from the proceeds of Peryahan Ng Bayan, the reason they are required to submit the Point of Sales and list of agents by the PCSO.

All over the country, Negros Occidental is the third area visited by PCSO inspection team. After Negros, the team will proceed to Cebu and Bohol also for the draw centers inspection.

Peryahan ng Bayan stopped its operation on July 30 along with other numbers games under PCSO as ordered by President Rodrigo Duterte.
