Provincial Board to hold out-of-town sessions

Sunnexdesk

VICE Governor Jeffrey Ferrer said the Provincial Board will hold sessions out of town to know the concerns of the local government units and bring the government to the people.

Ferrer said that they will hold the out of town session once a month and that their first schedule would be in San Carlos City.

Ferrer revealed the plan as part of the innovations being done by the SP.

On Tuesday, Board Member Araceli Somosa of the first district presided the session.

“I yielded my seat to Somosa to preside the session with the approval of the body,” Ferrer said.

He said he wants all the Sangguniang Panlalawigan members to experience presiding the session.

“I am here and if there is urgent matter I can participate with the discussion any time,” Ferrer said.

Last time, Board Member Sixto Guanzon has presided the session upon the request of Ferrer. (TDE)
