San Carlos gets award for anti-drug abuse campaign

THE City Government of San Carlos received the 2019 National Anti-Drug Abuse Council Performance Award from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) presented by San Carlos City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (SCCADAC) secretariat Ana Liza Macaraya Monday morning, January 25.

Macaraya said the award was given by the DILG as recognition to the city's effort in supporting the national government's anti-illegal drug abuse campaign.

The city garnered a score of 90 functionality points during the conduct of 2018 Anti-Drug Abuse Council (Adac) Performance Audit.

Macaraya handed the said award to San Carlos City Mayor Renato Gustilo.

Also present during the turnover were Representative Gerardo P. Valmayor Jr., Vice Mayor Christopher Paul Carmona, City Council Members Mark Cui, Clint Mansueto and City Administrator Atty. Estefanio Libutan Jr. and CPDO head Engr. Magnolia B. Antonio. (PR)
