San Carlos inaugurates projects

THE City Government of San Carlos has inaugurated two newly completed projects in Barangay Punao in the northern Negros Occidental locality on Wednesday, September 15, 2021.

City Engineer Rexter Nemenzo, in a press release, said the rehabilitation and renovation of the health station in Sitio Mag-amihan cost almost P2.3 million.

The construction of the Day Care Center in Sitio Hagonoy was worth P1.54 million.

Both projects were funded by the local government, Nemenzo said.

The rehabilitation of the health station was completed this week, while that of the daycare center was finished in February 2021, he added.

Present at the inauguration were Mayor Renato Gustilo and Councilors Benito Gustilo Jr., Mark Cui and Carlos Manuel Valmayor.

They were joined by barangay officials led by captain Sofronio Senador, City Social Welfare and Development Officer Cynthia Mirande, AboitizPower Corporate Social Responsibility officer Raymond Rigor, City Health Office’s Nurse Supervisor Rowena Sabangan and barangay health workers. (PR)
