San Enrique receives new PNP building

THE San Enrique Municipal Police Station under Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) received the newly completed Standard Type "B/C" Philippine National Police (PNP) Building during the inauguration and turnover ceremony at the Municipality of San Enrique on June 18, 2021.

During the said event, Nocppo Provincial Director Police Colonel Romy Palgue, together with San Enrique Municipal Police station chief of police, Police Captain Renante Salgado, received the symbolic key from Engr. Lea Delfinado, regional director of DPWH-Western Visayas.

San Enrique Municipal Mayor Jilson Tubillara was present during the ceremony. Reverend Father Alex S. Araneta, San Enrique parish priest, officiated the blessing of the building.

The said building was funded under the PNP-DPWH Convergence Program FY 2020 with a construction cost of P8,600,000. The construction of the building started on June 19, 2020 and was completed on January 15, 2021.

Palgue, in his message, expressed his utmost gratitude and appreciation to the support of the local government of San Enrique and DPWH-Western Visayas. (PR)
