Talisay City records highest Covid-19 deaths

TALISAY City has recorded 12 deaths due to coronavirus disease (Covid-19) based on the record of its City Health Office.

It has registered the highest number of deaths in Negros Occidental due to Covid-19.

The record showed that the city has five new death cases.

The Covid-19 fatalities were from Barangay Zone 3 with four; Barangay Zone 4, 10,12-A, 14 and 15 with one each and three in Barangay Dos Hermanas.

As of September 16, Talisay City has a total of 312 confirmed cases, with 171 active cases and 129 recoveries.

Talisay City has the most number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the province.

It is one of the four local government units in the province that pilot in the Covid-19 mass testing during the "timeout weekend" on August 30 to 31.
