THE San Carlos City Covid-19 facility is nearing its completion.

San Carlos City Mayor Renato Gustilo said the facility is located inside the San Carlos City Sports Complex in Barangay Rizal.

The facility, which is part of Phase 1 of the project, costs around P10 million and consists of two units of isolation buildings, and four units which will be used for the quarantine of those tagged as persons under

investigation (PUI).

The facility was constructed on a 759.6 square meter lot and funded through the 20 percent development fund under the construction development of hospital/anti-Covid-19 program.

Each isolation building has 12 rooms while the PUI facility has 14 rooms, all with toilets and baths.

Gustilo added the facility was made as the schools in the city will no longer be used as quarantine facilities in preparation for the upcoming opening of classes next month.
