Tribu Norte, La Granja win Pasalamat street dance competition

THE best performing tribes in the 39th Pasalamat Festival, cultural and arts festival arena and street dance competition held Sunday were Tribu Norte and Tribu La Granja for the barangay category.

Next to Tribu Norte (La Carlota North Elementary School) were Tribu Nabagatnang Mangkas (La Carlota South Elementary School) and Tribu Ferlou.

Tribu La Granja was also best in float, best in caricature and best in costume.

Tribu RSB (Roberto S. Benedicto), which was the second-best performing tribe in the barangay category, was also named best in arena and best in choreography.

La Carlota City Mayor Luis Jalandoni III expressed his gratitude to the people for showing their support and cooperation to the yearly festival.

He also thanked those who participated in the various competitions and events that made the festival more fun and exciting.
