VICTORIAS City Mayor Javier Miguel "Javi" Benitez will soon launch the Complaints and Action Center and Career Assistance Help Desks to receive various internal and external concerns, suggestions, grievances, and applications.

Benitez announced this as he attended for the first time the city’s flag ceremony with the other local officials, punong barangays, department and national agencies heads, employees, and personnel at the Victorias City Public Plaza yesterday, July 4.

He led the Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan during the flag ceremony.

Prior to his announcement, the new mayor of the northern Negros Occidental locality also issued his first Executive Order (EO) anchored on the general policy of his administration’s six-point agenda.

Meanwhile, Benitez retained all contractual, casual, and job order employees.

But, he said, they must prove themselves by accomplishing their responsibilities within the three months grace period.

He told them that it is his dream that the city employees of Victorias will be model government employees in the province, as he encouraged them to get to work towards a brighter future for the city.

Benitez also introduced lawyers Lindolf De Castro and Meddie Arbolado Jr. as city administrator and legal officer, respectively, after he administered their oaths of office.*
