Wanted person nabbed in Bacolod City

THE second most wanted person of Bacolod Police Station 7 was arrested for murder at Panaad Park and Stadium in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City Thursday night, April 19.

Police identified the suspect as Angelo Cordero, 20, of Purok Sunrise, Barangay Taculing.

Senior Inspector Armilyn Vargas, public information officer of Bacolod City Police Office, said Cordero was also identified by witnesses as the suspect in the stabbing incident at the parking area of the said venue on April 18.

The incident resulted in the injuries of Joseph Ryan Alipat, 23, of Barangay Mansilingan.

Alipat was walking at 2:45 a.m. when he was stabbed by Cordero using an ice pick.

Cordero is detained at the police station.
