MANILA -- Malacanang on Wednesday lauded the “very good” satisfaction rating the public gave President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III based on the recent survey of Social Weather Stations (SWS).

“We are happy to announce that according to the recent SWS survey, the President has achieved an overall net satisfaction rating of +60 percent which we believed is one of the highest in recent history,” Deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte said in a press briefing.

Valte noted that what the President appreciated was the high numbers he got from all social classes especially class C and D who are the middle and lower classes.

“This means that they are responding well to the programs of the President primarily to reduce poverty and fight against corruption,” she said. (Jill Beltran/Sunnex)
