MANILA -- Police have considered the missing companion of Pilar Pilapil a suspect in the failed attempt on the life of the veteran actress, radio reports said Monday.

Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Director Samuel Pagdilao said the police are now considering "a complex crime of robbery with physical injuries."

He added that they are now hunting down Rosel Penas, Pilapil's companion. (Sunnex)
