THE staging of the 2020 Western Visayas Prisaa or WVPRISAA in Roxas City, Capiz went well.

This was the assessment of WVPRISAA president Mark Molina, who is also the head of the Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports, Cultural, and Educational Association. “I am appreciative of the local government unit of the Province of Capiz through Gov. Esteban Contreras and Roxas City Mayor Ronnie Dadivas. Their partnership and support made it easy for Mngr. Cyril Villareal, President of Capiz Private Schools Association, to execute all plans for the successful hosting of this year's Regional Games,” he said.

“I also would like to extend my gratitude to the Capiz and Roxas City police personnel as well as to the Roxas City Emergency Response Team who stayed with us throughout the staging of the WVPRISAA, and had been ready to render service if needed,” Molina stressed.

“My appreciation also goes to the WVPRISAA Board of Trustees, and Technical Committee, the respective local associations especially the NOPSSCEA whose efforts and support to our student-athletes have been remarkable for the past two years under my presidency,” he added.

Molina further stressed that they are able to save about P300,000 during the staging for the 6-day sports undertakings. “These savings will be added to our fund for the National PRISAA in Tuguegarao on April 18-24,” he said.

Since the venue for the nationals is quite far thus, the WVPRISAA TechniCom will travel ahead to experience themselves the travel, check the cost and conduct ocular in the playing venues and billeting schools, Molina said.
