AIMED to develop local footballers’ skills by exposure to more matches and create opportunities to earn scholarships in big colleges and universities, the JCI Chicks United Inc. organized the month-long JCI Football League featuring six teams competing until July 29 at the Kabankalan City football field.

The tournament also aims to keep individuals fit, healthy and away from illegal substance. It also promotes a love of the sport and creates sustainable impact in the community.

Teams seeing action are Budols, Stallions, Plaza Real, Selda Dos, El Kapitan, and Jether and friends who come from Kabankalan City, Central Philippine State University, and Dancalan, Ilog.

This tournament is part of their JCI’s Sports Development Program supported by the City of Kabankalan Football Club and City of Kabankalan, and sanctioned by the Negros Occidental Football Association. (HGD)
