Bacolod bowlers to compete in Malaysia

BACOLOD-BASED Sugarbowl Tenpin Association, Inc. (STAI) Youth Prima bowlers JJ Besa, Rephael Besana, and Kenneth Agujo will be competing in the 20th Storm U22 International Junior All-Stars Bowling Championship from December 3 to 13, at the Sunway Mega Lanes, Selangor in Malaysia.

Sanctioned by the Malaysian Tenpin Bowling Congress, Asian Bowling Federation, and the World Bowling, this tournament aims to foster and promote goodwill, friendship and sportsmanship among the youth bowling community.

Meanwhile, the STAI/Prima tenpinners will be representing Negros Occidental for the upcoming Philippine Bowling Federation Youth Annuals on December 26, and the Philippine Bowling Federation National Youth Championships on December 27 to 30 at Coronado Lanes, Starmall EDSA in Mandaluyong City.

The STAI Youth is also hosting a Charity Fun Game every Sunday at Lopue’s East Bowling Center in Bacolod City with a registration fee of P250 for three games. (JSG)
