HUNDREDS of woodpushers from Bacolod City and nearby localities are expected to converge at the Event Center of City Mall-Mandalagan in Bacolod City on Saturday, November 30, for the 3rd Rapid Chess Championship organized by Bacolod Chess Training and Learning Center.

This six-rounder Swiss System chess contest will feature mixed 11 and under girls and boys, and the Open 2060 & below National Chess Federation of the Philippines Rating groups.

Guaranteed prizes are at stake which include cash gifts, trophies, medals, chess sets, and sling bags with a total worth of at least P18,000.

The Top 10 finishers from both divisions will also receive prizes accordingly including special awards for best individual performances.

The registration fee is P250 per player.
