Jerome S. Galunan Jr.

THE Philippine champions Ceres Negros FC is currently on standby as the government have set a community quarantine in Metro Manila following the increase on the numbers of individuals affected by Covid-19.

This was disclosed Friday, March 13, by club administrator Nicolas Golez, adding, that they will coordinate with the Philippine Football Federation for the next steps as it may affect the league matches and their travel to Bali.

Ceres FC is scheduled to play against Bali United on April 14.

Meanwhile, Golez describe the Busmen’s recent performance against Bali. “The boys have shown character in their last victory against Bali United. After that disappointing draw with Than Quang Ninh, the boys and the coaching staff worked hard to improve and they did tremendously in the last match,” said Golez.

It was recalled that Ceres FC demolished Bali, 4-0 during the closed-door match at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
