Aimed to provide a scientific training center for athletes who will focus on sports performance, strength and physical conditioning, and plyometrics, the Phenom Elite Training Academy opened in Bacolod City Monday, May 21.

Located at the exit of St. John’s Institute, the opening rites were led by NLex guard Kiefer Ravena, Creamline star Alyssa Valdez, Rowland Kim Santos, Christopher Jamero and Deonyson Dy.

For Dy, the training center is their contribution to sports by producing competitive athletes in Bacolod City.

“One can access the various training sessions and can go as a team. We have a team of coaches and trainers that will cater to those who will join Phenom,” he added.

Ravena said they saw a lot of potentials in Bacolod City and that athletes need a higher level of preparation and competitiveness.

Valdez, on the other hand, thanked everyone who has expressed their support to the new venture and is excited to serve aspiring Bacolod athletes. (HGD)
