STI-WNU defends HS football crown

STI-West Negros University Junior Mustangs de-horned University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos Junior Rams, 6-0, to keep their secondary boys' football title in Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports, Cultural and Educational Association Season 38 at Sta. Maria Football Field in Talisay City.

Scoring for Ian Combate’s Junior Mustangs are Bryant John Alianza and Zakary Josh Lacson who scored two goals each while Rolevan Valderama and skipper Adonis Abramm Abela delivered a goal each.

Joining Combate in the sideline are assistant coaches Jimiel Valiao and Christopher Valderrama.

Don Bosco Technical Institute-Victorias salvaged third place after beating University of St. La Salle in the consolation match.

Supervising the conduct of the event is tournament manager Dennis Estaniel. (HGD)
