ULTRON Touring pulled away in the payoff period for a 94-79 victory over Sprint 4t Enduro for its third win while Sprint 4t Rider defeated Sprint 4t Racer, 83-71, in the 36 and Above division of the ongoing Fil-Sino Petron Cup 2018 at Bacolod Tay Tung High School gym.

Sprint 4t Enduro kept the game close in the first three quarters trailing, 57-58, but could not stop the post-up dominance of Ultron's Leo Bat-og in the fourth quarter.

Efraim Valencia paced Ultron Touring with 16 points, 12 in the 2nd quarter, while Lito Dumdum added 15 points, Glin Ortaliz and Bat-og with 13 points each.

Harry Siendo led Sprint 4t Enduro with 16 points, Nikol Medina dropped 13 markers while John Montemayor added 12 points.

In the other game, Sprint 4t Rider led at the half, 48-34, behind Matt Deles and Allan Elevencionado with 10 markers apiece as Jasper Geolingo hit seven points for Sprint 4t Racer.

Kendrick Deloria and Oliver Manaloto combined for 17 points to cut the lead to 61-57 going to the fourth quarter.

But Deles and Rinen Miag-ao each dropped eight points each as they outscored Sprint 4t Racer in the payoff quarter.

Elevencionado and Miag-ao spearheaded Sprint 4t Rider with 12 points each as Geolingo and DK Equipaje tallied ninr points apiece.

Manaloto, on the other hand, has game-high 19 points in a losing effort for Sprint 4t Racer. Deloria and Ritche Militante contributed 14 points apiece. (HGD)
