US envoys arrive in Cagayan

MEMBERS from different agencies of the United States (US) arrived in Cagayan to assess the damage brought by Super Typhoon Juan (international codename: Megi).

A television report said six members of the US Marines and US Navy and two representatives from US Embassy are set to do inspections around the province.

The group is likely to help the victims depending on the recommendations from the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.

The Department of Agriculture pegged the damage to agriculture to P1.3 billion. (Sunnex)
