Jaela's 18th under the starry night sky

Brenda Lee Villanueva

ALL parents wish their children all the best in life. Providing them with their needs and wants make parents happy and proud. Seeing their children well, blissful and enjoying life give parents fulfillment and a wonderful feeling of accomplishment. Having a daughter/daughters, at that, is indeed a blessing. Parents feel the excitement for the next chapter of her journey into the real world of self-discovery, independence and responsibility. Parents wish to see that their daughter’s friends are also theirs. Parents see to it that personal commitments, goals and decisions are reached. If ever these are shortchanged, parents are always there to catch them when they stumble and fall.

Congratulations to my co-parents Mario and Merlyn Pulmano for bringing up a beautiful daughter, Jaela, the best way they can. A debut highlights a daughter getting out of her protective shell but moreover it is also a milestone for parents to set the sail for their precious daughter and to see her dreams unfold.

All these I witnessed under the starry night sky and moonlight!

Kudos for a job well done! God bless!

The debut was held last March 30 at the WC Cameron Forbes Ballroom, Baguio Country Club. HMU and gowns by Olec Josephus and coordination headed by Jamie Yaneza. Photos by Tolitz Villanueva.
