2 bodies dumped in La Trinidad

TWO bodies were found in different areas in La Trinidad, Benguet Thursday, February 27.

Police Major Cleff Vencio, La Trinidad Municipal Police Station (MPS) chief, said two male cadavers were found at 7 a.m. at Barangay Puguis and Lamut Junction, Beckel, La Trinidad.

In Puguis, a carpenter discovered the body in a ravine at Mount Costa.

The cadaver was later identified as Johnny Rabang, 55, a taxi driver, married and resident of San Carlos Heights in Baguio City.

He was identified by the operator of the taxi that was parked along Longlong-Puguis road and was later turned over to Scene of the Crime Operatives.

The male cadaver found by barangay peace keeping action teams patrolling the area along Lamut Junction had no clothes on and has yet to be identified.

Meanwhile, Vencio said the police are conducting thorough investigation to identify the cause of death of the discovered bodies and the suspects involved.
