TWO construction workers died while several others were hurt in two separate stabbing incidents in Baguio City.

Jaymark Ya-on Rosales died on the way to the hospital after he was allegedly stabbed by his co-worker on March 23 at the construction site of the Baguio Water District in Marcoville. He was 26.

In a police report, Rosales and his brother Joel were stabbed by their co-worker Wilfredo Gatchalian Duqueza.

Jaymark reportedly tried to help his brother, who quarreled with Duqueza, but he was stabbed at the back.

The brothers were brought to the Baguio General Hospital (BGH) but Jaymark was declared dead by the attending physician, while the suspect escaped after the incident.

Meanwhile, Raymart Torres was declared dead on arrival at the BGH after he was stabbed multiple times in an altercation.

Baguio City Police said in a report that Torres was having drinks with Restlee Agsaoay Maglaya and Fernando Sanchez Torres in a bar along Upper Session Road on March 25.

It was nearly midnight when they had a heated argument with another group that led to a brawl, during which they were stabbed. The suspects fled.
