Cordillera art in Ayala Museum

ARTWORKS from Tam–Awan Village Artists (TVA) will be up for exhibit at the Ayala Museum.

Dubbed as Bin-nadang Di Kordilyera (Bayanihan of Cordillera), close to 30 works by 24 TVA house artists will be featured in the exhibit.

The Ayala Museum Artist Space will highlight pieces by solar artist, Jordan Mang-osan with two works inspired by the camaraderie of the Cordillera.

Mang–osan’s work presents human images and symbols of the highland region depicting culture and heritage.

The exhibit opens Friday, March 22, and will run for a month.

Mang-osan is president of the TVA and Chanum Foundation Inc. which manages the Tam- Awan Village in Baguio City.

Bin-nadang Di Kordilyera is a narrative about the Cordilleran way of life and how it has always been faithful to the old ways and to heritage.

Participating artists include Jo-anne Siadto, Alfred and Alfonso Dato, Art Lozano, Cynthia Dalisdis, Eden Cawang, Edwin Macadaeg, Francis alingcayon, Gretta Apolina, Ja Busacay, Jayson Dyclan, Jen Lorenzo, Jessie Esteban, John Frank Sabado, Luisa Galang, Marlyn Bulayo, Mark Tandoyog, Tara Natividad and Clinton Aniversario.
