Foreigner, companion arrested for rape

A SAUDI national and his companion were arrested by police after allegedly raping their companion and taking video of the act.

In a blotter report of the Baguio City Police Office Station 6, arrested was Mohammed Noreldyne Ahmed Osman, 26, from Saudi Arabia, and Verniteo Alfonso Rieza alias "Noynoy," who allegedly raped their 19-year-old companion early morning of October 13 in Ambiong, Baguio City.

Initial investigation revealed that the victim, together with her male friends, were invited for a drink at the house of the suspects.

Feeling intoxicated, the victim proceeded to a room to sleep where she was followed by the two suspects who raped her.

According to police, the foreign national also took photos and videos while in the process of molesting the victim.

The male friends of the victim, identified as Carlo Cuarteron and Joseph Dela Cruz, heard the victim shouting for help inside the room. They immediately went inside and rescued her.

A case for violation of Republic Act (RA) 8353 (rape) and RA 9995 or the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009 were filed against the suspects.
