Foreigner robbed inside hotel

A SAUDI Arabian national was robbed after his new found girlfriend allegedly stole his cash while he was out of their rented hotel room.

In a report from the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), the incident happened at 4:20 a.m. of July 22 inside a hotel along Calderon Street corner Session Road Baguio City based upon the complain of Bahaeldin Elzaki Elhabib.

Investigation disclosed the suspect, identified as “Angela” and the victim arrived from Manila and checked - in at the hotel on July 19.

Probers said Elhabib left the suspect and went to unwind and upon returning at the hotel, the duty receptionist informed him that the suspect has left, which prompted him to immediately check their rented room.

He then discovered that his P40,000 cash placed inside his traveling bag and one cellphone worth P6,000 were already missing.

The suspect remains at large as of this writing while a case of theft was already filed at the court.
