Wanted persons neutralized in a week

SIXTEEN wanted persons, four of whom are listed in the 10 most wanted persons (TMWP), were arrested over the week as Police Regional Office-Cordillera (PRO-COR) stepped up its anti-criminality campaign.

Ifugao’s no. 5 TMWP for the 1st quarter of 2018 identified as Senando Bannog, 35, a resident of Poitan, Banaue was arrested at the 513rd Engineers Contraction Brigade, Camp Melchor F dela Cruz, Barangay Suyong, Echague, Isabela on August 7 after he surrendered to the personnel of 513 ECB and 502nd Infantry Brigade.

Bannog was charged for a crime of homicide with no bail recommended.

The 9th TMWP of Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) identified as Archie Agamas Culhi, 37, miner was nabbed at Nangalisan, Tuba, Benguet on August 7 for the crime of robbery with a recommended bail of P36,000.

In the municipal level, Joseph Catian Cadoy, 58, listed as No. 1 TMWP most wanted person of Bangued Municipal Police Station (MPS) was arrested in his residence at Barangay Poblacion East, Pidigan, Abra on August 10 for murder.

Completing the list is John Ang-Ayan Sakiwat a.k.a. “Milio,” 53, construction worker and No. 1 TMWP of Dinapigue MPS who was arrested in his residence at Purok 7, Bakakeng, Baguio City on August 8 charged for the crime of rape in Santiago City, Isabela with no recommended bail bond.

A total of 12 other wanted persons were arrested region wide for various crimes for the period August 7 to 13, 2018.

PRO-COR remains steadfast in accounting all wanted persons and remains firm in its anti-criminality campaign.
