REGISTRATION is now ongoing for the Three-Hour Virtual Run Through Challenge slated November 14-22.

Organized by Virago Bike & Run Events, the virtual run will see limited participation as the track is only three kilometers long, with only 15 per category will be allowed to run in the three hours race, while 20 per category will be allowed in the one lap run and only 20 per category in the 8 to 12 years old kiddie race.

Marites Bitbit, of Virago, said the more rounds a participant makes, the better chance of winning the race.

The Southeast Asian Games bike road race gold medalist in the 2005 and 2007 said the event is in partnership with the City Government of Baguio through the city sports and city tourism office and Loakan Proper Barangay.

Online registration forms may be accessed at https://form.jotform.com/202841341643146.

Bitbit said participants may also register at the Baguio City Sports Office at the Baguio Athletic Bowl and Toyville Bikeshop. Registration fee is at P1,000 and can be made through GCash or bank transfer.

“The race is limited to runners from Baguio-La Trinidad-Itogon-Sablan-Tuba-Tublay and on a first come first serve basis,” said Bitbit.

Bitbit recently opened a mountain bike course in Loakan, which is now becoming a favorite for mountain biking enthusiasts. (Roderick Osis)
