Small entrepreneurs earn P1M in Pasko de Oro Bazaar

THE small-scale entrepreneurs who sold their food products at the mini park of Cagayan de Oro's City Hall have earned more than P1 million during the Pasko de Oro Bazaar activity last December 2019.

The overall total sales of the bazaar, which was spearheaded by the Livelihood Division of the City Social Welfare and Development Office and participated by 13 small-scale entrepreneurs in the city, reached P1.053 million.

At least 24 companies also became the sub-suppliers for the said entrepreneurs.

The Pasko de Oro Bazaar also paved the way for new employment as 60 job orders were generated following the said activity.

Pasko de Oro Bazaar is an annual activity organized by the City Government under its livelihood program to provide opportunities to micro and small entrepreneurs in selling their goods such as delicacies, snacks and other local food products.
