140 new Cagayan de Oro residents contract coronavirus

CASES of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in Cagayan de Oro have slightly declined as the City Health reported 140 new infections, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the city to 11,667.

Of the 140 new confirmed cases, 80 were local index cases, 43 were close contacts of previously confirmed cases, nine local authorized persons outside residence (Apors), seven Apors with link, and one mortality.

Cagayan de Oro recorded 1,211 active cases, 368 of whom were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 842 were outpatients, and one ROF/LSI.

The city also registered 75 new coronavirus-positive persons who were now tagged as "recovered." This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 9,932.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city was now at 524.
