24 new coronavirus cases recorded in Cagayan de Oro

THE Cagayan de Oro City Health Office has recorded 24 new coronavirus cases, one of whom is a locally stranded individual (LSI), three are returning overseas Filipino workers (ROFs) and 20 are local transmissions.

This brought the total number of confirmed coronavirus infections in the city to 2,298.

Acting City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said 10 of the 20 new local cases are close contacts of previously confirmed cases and one is a local authorized person outside residence.

Of the 2,298 total Covid-19 cases in the city, 387 are under the returning overseas Filipino workers/locally stranded individuals category and 1,911 cases are local transmissions.

According to Nery, the 1,911 local cases consist of 155 persons deprived of liberty, 976 local index cases and 780 local cases with link.
