Of the 300 individuals, 262 are overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and 37 are LSIs.

This program is under the Balik-Probinsya of the National Government where stranded individuals who may have lost their jobs due to the pandemic are allowed to go back to their provinces for free.

Lawyer Jeffrey Saclot, spokesperson of the Provincial Interagency Task Force, said the returning individuals have undergone strict screening and profiling before they were allowed to go home.

In Misamis Oriental, the returning OFWs and LSIs shall undergo 14-day quarantine period in the barangay isolation units of their respective municipalities. (PJO)
