9 barangays in Cagayan de Oro have active cases

NINE barangays have active cases in Cagayan de Oro City, the City Health Office reported on Saturday, June 18, 2022.

Based on the data presented by the City Health Office, as of June 17, 2022, Barangays Balulang, Lumbia and Puntod had two active cases each, while Barangays Bulua, Gusa, Patag, Bonbon, Canitoan and Cugman had one case each.

The cumulative number of active cases in Cagayan de Oro is now at 12, of which one was admitted at the Northern Mindanao Medical Center, 10 were outpatients and one returning overseas Filipino (ROF).

Majority or 87 percent of Covid-19 mortalities recorded in Cagayan de Oro City were unvaccinated individuals.

As of June 7, the city had a total of 941 Covid-19 deaths, of which 823 were unvaccinated individuals while 13 percent or 118 were vaccinated individuals.
