Active cases in Cagayan de Oro drop to 325

THE City Health Office reported on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, seven new cases of coronavirus disease-2019 (Covid-19).

The relatively lower cases brought the number of active Covid cases down to 325, 79 of whom were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 245 were outpatients, and one returning overseas filipino/locally stranded individual.

Of the seven new confirmed cases, three were local index cases, one close contact of previously confirmed case, one local authorized person outside residence (Apor), one Apor with link, and one mortality.

The new local cases brought the cumulative number of infections in the city to 20,349.

Cagayan de Oro also registered 28 new coronavirus-positive persons who were now tagged as "recovered." This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 19,178.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city remains at 846.
