Active cases in Cagayan de Oro drops to 1,134

THE City Health Office Thursday, October 14, reported 29 new cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).

The relatively lower cases brought the number of active Covid cases down to 1,134, 352 of whom were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 779 were outpatients, and three ROFs/LSIs.

Of the 29 new confirmed cases, 16 were local index cases, 12 were close contacts of previously confirmed cases and one mortality.

The new local cases brought the cumulative number of infections in the city to 19,885.

Cagayan de Oro also registered 94 new coronavirus-positive persons who were now tagged as "recovered." This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 17,915.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city is now at 836.

Meanwhile, the total number of vaccinated individuals who tested positive for coronavirus in Cagayan de Oro is now at 4,942.

Of the 4,942 vaccinees, 3,075 were vaccinated with Sinovac vaccine, 914 were vaccinated with AstraZeneca, 331 with Pfizer, 291 with Sputnik V, 302 with Janssen, six with Sinopharm, 23 with Moderna.
