Coronavirus-positive vaccinated individuals in Oro now at 134

THE total number of coronavirus-positive vaccinated individuals in Cagayan de Oro is now at 134, city epidemiologist Dr. Joselito Retuya reported on Thursday, May 13.

According to Retuya, of the 134 vaccinees, 31 got their first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine, one has completed his doses of the Sinopharm vaccine in the Middle East, one was vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine, and 100 were vaccinated with the Sinovac vaccine.

Of the 100 coronavirus-positive Sinovac vaccinees, 63 individuals have already completed their doses of the vaccine, while 37 got their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.

The total number of City Government employees who tested positive for the novel coronavirus has increased as well, now at 147. Retuya said 123 of them have already recovered from the virus while 24 are active cases currently staying at the city's Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility.

Meanwhile, five units of high flow oxygenation machine were delivered to the City Health Insurance Office-Logistics cluster on Wednesday, May 12.

The machines, according to City Mayor Oscar Moreno, are intended for the Center ofr Emerging and Re-emerging Infectious Disease (CEREID) in barangay San Simon, this city.

As of May 11, 52 Covid-positive patients were admitted at the CEREID.
