THE total number of people who have recovered from the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in Cagayan de Oro City continued growing, reaching 19,423 after nine residents were tagged as recovered.

The City Health Office also recorded only one new Covid-19 infected person, a local case with link, bringing the cumulative number of confirmed infections to 20,421.

The City Health Office noted a continuous decline of active cases in the city, logging in a cumulative number of 148 active cases.

Of the figure, 27 were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, and121 were outpatients.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city remains to be at 850.
